February Winter Play Program
Nursery School of The Nyack’s Winter Play is a school-break program where children aged 2+ years old are able to play mindfully while school is out of session. We begin our day in the “big room,” riding on bikes, tackling age appropriate challenges (like balance beams and moon shoes) and plenty of creative play. We provide a safe and space space where children can let their energy burst even in the winter months. We then retire upstairs to our classroom for snack, exploration and camp crafts.
“My favorite thing about Winter Play is the mixed age group! We love watching our 4 and 5 year olds turn into mentors for the 2’s and 3’s. School age children are total camp rockstars, as the younger campers look to them for leadership and fun.”
Who:
Our Winter Playgroup is designed for kids age 2-10. If you have an older child (7-10), who would like to attend camp as a “helper counselor”, reach out and let us know!
Your child does not need to be potty trained to attend.
When:
The Nursery School of the Nyack’s Winter Play runs during Nyack School District closures. Camp will be closed on bank holidays. Join us for Mid-Winter Recess February 17-21, 2025.
Where:
The Winter Play Program is held at Grace Episcopal Church, 130 First Avenue, Nyack, NY 10960.
Mid-Winter Camp 2025 Tuition: $50/day.

Daily Schedule:
Drop off and Pick up will always stay the same, but as time goes on and the group develops its own energy some parts of the day may be shifted
