Afternoon Arts for Ages 3-5
The Creative Arts Workshop (CAW) and Nursery School of the Nyacks (NSN) are thrilled to partner to offer Afternoon Arts, an engaging and enriching program for children ages 3-5. Designed to foster play-based learning and social-emotional development, this program features arts-focused activities in a nurturing environment.
Children enrolled in NSN’s morning program will be walked over to CAW facilities to seamlessly transition into Afternoon Arts.
Program Schedule:
Days: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays
Time: 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Start Date: Monday, January 6, 2025
End Date: Final week of June 2025
Daily Schedule:
Open Play & Arts: A welcoming start with creative and exploratory activities.
Opening Circle: Setting intentions and engaging with peers.
Snack Time: A chance to refuel and connect.
Daily Story Nook: Fostering a love for reading and imagination.
Simple Projects: Hands-on arts activities that encourage creativity and skill-building.
Closing Play & Circle Time: Reflecting on the day and preparing for pick-up.
Focus Areas:
Play-based learning to support natural curiosity and engagement.
Social-emotional development to nurture cooperation, empathy, and confidence.
Creative arts activities to inspire self-expression and cognitive growth.
Enrollment Fees (Charged on Autopay Monthly Subscription):
3 days per week: $415/month
2 days per week: $340/month
